In class we talked about everything inside the cell and their functions. For example the centriole produces the cell's cytoskeleton which is made up of microtubules and microfillaments. What i learned as the powerhouse of the cell was the mitochondria. The mitochondria simply produces energy in the form of ATP. The mitochondria is one of the most important parts of the cell because of its job. Of course the nucleus is the most important part of the cell because its the "brain" of the cell. The nucleus is only found in eukaryotic cells. In class we just went over the animal cell for now, but the plant cell as almost everything in an animal cell but a plant cell either lacks or has something extra. For example a plant cell as a cell wall and an animal cell does not. The cell is very important to living life because each part has a job that helps keeps living things alive. Since I can't really explain everything very well, here is an animal cell that we talked about in class with all of its parts and what they do.
